Augusta Charmont
Augusta Charmont is a Duchess of the Tritos Dominion serving the Crown of Ania in the southern portion of the country. The Duchess and her husband, Duke Jamison Charmont, oversee the entirety of the region. They are responsible for protection as well as tax collection, food distribution, and maintaining the law. Currently, Baron Druceff serves directly under the Duke and Duchess handling their business out of Dondarian.
Augusta was born in the capital city of Ania where she was brought up in court. She is headstrong and passionate, viewing herself as the true ruler of the region she serves in. She often takes matters into her own hands to ensure that justice is served.
King Ender Ramus raised Augusta and Jamison Charmont to their station upon the death of their predecessor. As an old friend and lover of the King, Augusta's loyalty is now solely to her husband, whose tenderness balances out her more aggressive nature.
In addition to her rank of nobility, Augusta is also a member of The Arcane Collective, the most influential organization of arcane users on Dromaria. The Collective works to protect and maintain the knowledge of their art. Because of her relationship with the organization the Duchess is often at odds with the Shatterstaves, a military unit serving the Crown who focuses on eliminating troublesome users of magic.
