The Bako Murti
Standing a colossal twenty stories high, and half as wide, the Bako Murti is a massive carving of the malkari god Bako. Discovered by Thes Daro, an explorer from the Esh Republic, the statue is what sparked the founding of Rastein.
The statue's origins are a mystery. It is made of an unknown material not found on Dromaria and is considered one of the realm's great mysteries. Historians warn that the components of Bako Murti can be disassembled and repurposed into something hazardous. Since its discovery, the statue's care has been passed down from Thes to her son Del. As its caretaker, Del Daro seldom allows people to study the statue, and never allows samples to be taken.
