The Ores

The Ores River is found on the Eastlands of Pathriam in the country of the Tritos Dominion.   Rich in resources, the river begins its journey in the Slatetop Mountains, winding through The Emerald Wood past the cities of Rastein, Lolien, and Dondarian to eventually reach the Gyre Ocean. The Ores was named after its abundant mineral reserves, which the country of the Tritos Dominion vigilantly preserves.   The normally clear river has been plagued by pollution from the three cities situated nearby, despite their best efforts to keep it clean. A wide variety of wildlife still exists within and along its murky depths, and often clashes with the boats that sail through them.   The Ores serve a vital part of the Tritos Dominion, providing essential resources for those living along its path. Many travelers rely on the river for safe passage through dangerous terrain. At its most narrow point, the town of Dondarian stands as a military outpost and checkpoint. The walled city works to keep those in the region safe, but to also check all goods that pass along the river's banks.
