Greenwood Mill
The Greenwood Mill is situated on the northeast side of Shelter Lake, and serves as an essential source of treated wood for the region. The main mill building, along with various subsidiary structures, is situated on the edge of The Emerald Wood. This forest is the home of Greenwood, which requires specialized treatment to produce. The mill is the only place where the secrets to properly maintaining it are known. With proper care and finishing, Greenwood retains its vibrant color forever. The mill itself is constructed using this precious material, which makes it stand out among other buildings in town.
The mill has been in the Greenwood family for five generations, and is currently owned and operated by Mortimer Greenwood.
