Shelter Lake

Shelter Lake is the largest freshwater body of water in the Tritos Dominion and in the Eastlands of Pathriam. The towns of Forhold, of the nation of Serawa, and Shelter Lake of the Tritos Dominion share the water. The Lake is the basis for large fishing operations for both towns. Due to recent national conflicts, there have been border disputes over the area. Even so, those who call Shelter Lake home keep it well-maintained.

The lake shares its name with the neighboring town and is a popular destination for both fishing and leisure. On the banks rest many small docks and fishing platforms. The water provides an array of activities year-round, as the fish stock is constantly plentiful. Wildlife of all kinds is found here, with the most prized being the rare Jade-eyed Trout which has green scales that reflect in the sunlight. Waterfowl, ducks, and geese provide a secondary source of food to the area.

With its lush landscapes and mysterious depths, Shelter Lake calls to adventurers and travelers from faraway lands who come seeking solace or adventure alike. No matter why they come, they always seem to leave feeling refreshed and renewed by the beauty of this special place.
