The Jackalope Society

The Jackalope Society is a hunting lodge and fraternal order found in the city of Tintown. The building is a solid wood cabin, featuring a large common area and a variety of private rooms. It is decorated with various animal heads and antlers from the creatures found within The Cruel Wood.   The lodge is owned by Huntsman Gable Forstein whose family has been conducting hunting safaris since before the city was known as Tintown. It has become popular among the off-duty military personnel of the city.   To become a full member of the Jackalope Society one must meet the following requirements: provide the head of a good hunt, be a citizen of the Tritos Dominion, be of good character, and be at least sixteen years of age.   The age restriction is a relatively new addition and many believe it is to purposefully keep goblins out of the lodge.   Accepted members of the Jackalope Soceity are the rank of Explorer, with their leader titled the rank of Huntsman. Folks who visit the lodge who are not members are typically referred to as Snowshoes.
