"The world yearns for release, for true healing to take root. The festering sickness that plagues our lands must be purged, and the monstrous terrors that haunt our every step must be vanquished. In this quest, the dragons must lend their mighty flames to our cause, igniting the fire that shall illuminate the frigid north."

Description

To feel the touch of Asir is to experience the gentle warmth of a comforting breeze, capable of mending devastating injuries and curing ailments.   Asir is the elvenari goddess revered for her dominion over healing, life, and summer. Renowned in life as a skilled physician, wise educator, and compassionate mentor, she played a pivotal role in advancing medicine. Her unwavering leadership during the Age of Horror earned Asir reverence not only from the elvenari people but from all she encountered. Asir shared a kindred bond with nature and beasts, consistently extending her nurturing care to both.   While Asir is venerated in various religions, her influence is most profoundly felt within the Summertide faith, which she actively helped establish. Known for her benevolence, she is fondly remembered for taking in the forsaken and tending to the wounds of those she encountered.

Modern Depictions

Asir among the Tritons.
Asir is typically portrayed as an elvenari woman with a regal bearing, adorned with purple skin and an indigo jewel on her forehead. Her long hair is elegantly braided, and she is occasionally wreathed in ethereal flames or draped in simple silk garments. In Thorn, a prominent statue portrays Asir as a blazing chariot, symbolizing her fiery power and unyielding determination.   The divine touch of Asir is often accompanied by the miraculous flourishing of nearby plants, sudden bursts of intense heat, and even the unexpected recovery of health, hastening the healing process or granting extraordinary vitality. In rare instances, her touch has been known to bring about early births, with the newborns exhibiting exceptional resilience and possessing robust immune systems, never falling prey to illness.
