Port Hadim Aquafarm

Located in Bastor near the Gyre Ocean, the Port Hadim Aquafarm is a sanctuary for endangered sea life, run by oceanographer Melanie Hurst. It offers a controlled environment in the shallower waters, providing a safe haven for creatures to lay eggs and mature. The practice has been so successful that Bastor now boasts a surplus of seafood, fueling local commerce and trade. At the end of each season, surplus sea life is released into the ocean, while the most vulnerable remain to sustain the cycle. The complex includes a facility for ice storage, packaging, and a processing area where chum is saved for the next season.
