Mortimer Greenwood
Mortimer is a sallow man, quick to anger. In his early 50s, he has short cropped grey hair and dark bulbous eyes. Owner and operator of the Greenwood Mill, Mort is the largest employer in Shelter Lake. Folks tend to keep their distance as Mortimer's legend precedes him.
Despite their prosperity and standing within Shelter Lake, the Greenwood family has a long history of suspicion, and Mortimer is no exception. While some claim they are cursed, others believe they practice dark magic within the Greenwood Estate. No matter the truth, Mortimer remains a fixture of the town, often seen at night walking along the lake shore.
Mortimer is the last of his family line and unwed, leaving many questions about the future of the Greenwood Mill.
