Actions
Multiattack. The Langoustine makes one claw attack and one sting attack.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 ( 1d8+3 ) bludgeoning damage. The target is grappled (escape DC 14).   Sting. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 ( 1d10+3 ) piercing damage. The target must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they become poisoned for 1 minute. While poisoned in this way, a creature’s speed is halved. They can repeat the saving throw at the end of each their turns to end the effect.

Reactions
Water Jet (Recharge 5-6). As a reaction after being attacked, the Langoustine shoots a pulse of water at the attacker. The target must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 15 ( 5d6 ) bludgeoning damage on a failed save. They are pushed 20 feet away and knocked prone. On a successful save, the target takes half damage and is not knocked prone.
"If I had known that thing pinched, stung, AND spat it would have stayed at the bottom of the ocean."

~ Tracklin Sige
Druid explorer

Chuck Edens' Author Note: The langoustine was designed as a beast for an underwater campaign, offering a high-end shape-shifting option for a druid explorer, as well as unique armor for the people of the sea. Few have seen these creatures other than delvers of the ocean's depths, making it difficult to replicate without seeing it for yourself.   It was inspired by langoustines, but also pistol shrimp, two things you don't see a lot of in D&D campaigns I've played in. So I figured why not mash it all into one crazy beast for water-loving shapeshifters to discover? Tritons have been using them as food and gear for ages but have only recently returned to the surface. They refer to the beast as “Uura’ Naakt”, or “Stab Crab” roughly translated from primordial.

Description
The Tracklin Langoustine is a giant crustacean that hides deep in Dromaria's oceans. It has a large armored body, with two long crushing claws and a spiked tail. Its carapace changes color to blend with the ocean floor, making it nearly invisible. The Langoustine feeds on underwater plants but becomes highly territorial if disturbed. They cannot survive outside of water for long.

History
An ocean explorer named Tracklin Sige discovered the Langoustine after hearing tales of strange movements at the bottom of the sea. His discovery confirmed what sailors had whispered for years: the ocean floor itself could move. The Langoustine, long thought to be a myth, became known as one of Dromaria’s more elusive creatures.   Despite their abundance, Langoustines are rarely seen. They are one of the most common creatures in the deep, but very few have seen one. The Langoustine’s natural armor, which retains its color-shifting properties after death, is highly prized by druids and Tritons for its stealth benefits.

Tactics
The Langoustine is a defensive creature. It grapples enemies with its powerful claws and stings them with its spiked tail. Its venom slows enemies down, making it easier for the Langoustine to fight. If it feels outmatched, the Langoustine uses its Water Jet to push attackers away and make a quick escape.   In combat, the Langoustine holds its ground, defending its territory from invaders. It fights fiercely but does not chase enemies. Once it forces a foe out of its space, a Langoustine will return to its hidden position.
