Description
Mudrake, often called "Mud Monsters," are four foot long grey lizards and the apex predator of wherever they live. They feed on scavengers, sometimes leaving dead prey as bait to draw it in. Feared by any who come across them, their toxic bite causes near immediate necrosis.   Tactics
Mudrakes prefer ambushing their prey. They will drag carcasses to attract large amounts of scavengers to an area and then ambush the creatures who have come to feed, burrowing from below. In areas where the mud monsters are known to frequent, it is a well known tactic and easy to avoid as long as the creatures are not starving.
