Amphithere (amphithereus) – A serpent-like creature with two or more wings.

Draconis – An order of reptiles comprising amphitheres, dragons, drakes, wyrms, and wyverns.

Dragon (draconem) – A fully erect gait quadrupedal reptile with two or more wings.

Dragonkin – A common name given to reptilian animals that fall under the Draconis order.

Drake (drakon) – A fully erect gait quadrupedal reptile with no wings. It is essentially a wingless dragon.

'kin – Contraction for "dragonkin". It can also be used as an interjection to express anger, surprise, or impatience.

      "You call us "Ancients" for 'kin's sake!"

'kinshit – Contraction for "dragonkinshit". It can also be used as an interjection to express anger, surprise, or impatience. An alternative to "bullshit".

Latterborn – Dragonkin who are not Ancients. This is really only used by the ancients themselves.

Wyrm – A serpentine-dragonkin creature with no wings.

Wyvern (wyver) – A fully erect gait bipedal reptile with two or more wings.
